FC Wacker Innsbruck wins 2-1 against SK Rapid II in the 8th round of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga.

The opening goal comes in just the second minute: Gstrein is sent through by Tekir on the left wing and beats the rushing Orgler in the near corner after 80 seconds of play (2').

The Viennese then have more possession, but Wacker goalie Kirchmayr is only truly tested by a shot from Music (42'). Shortly after, Kirchmayr makes a save - again against Music - on the line (44').

Bicycle Kick hits the Bar

Just minutes after the restart, an absolute wonder goal almost occurs. Tekir lays the ball off to Lechl after a cross, who controls it with his chest and, with his second touch, smashes it against the crossbar with a bicycle kick (48').

Shortly after, Jakupi shoots the ball wide of the left post from close range (51'). At the other end, Wacker becomes dangerous again, with Gstrein (58') and Guermouche (60') failing to beat Orgler.

Rapid's Joy is Short-Lived

SK Rapid's second team poses little threat for much of the rest of the match, but a penalty brings the momentum onto their side. Galle arrives late in the box against Berger, and the fouled player converts the resulting penalty himself (83'/pen.).

However, the score doesn't remain 1-1. Orgler makes another excellent save from an Owusu shot, tipping the ball around the post with his fingertips (88'). After the subsequent corner, Sy has plenty of space in the box and puts the ball into the right corner (90'+1).

In the standings, Wacker Innsbruck occupies fourth place with 14 points, while Rapid II is in 15th place with six points.
