Thrilling First Half: But No Winner in Floridsdorf
The "Falcons" from Kapfenberg take a point from Vienna.
FAC Wien and Kapfenberger SV drew 2-2 on Wednesday in the 11th round of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga.
Lan Piskule scored twice for Floridsdorf, while Rajan Zlibanovic and Antonio Sokcevic found the net for the "Falcons" - all goals were scored in the first half.
Kapfenberg Turns the Game Around
In the first half, Colic initially paid close attention to a curved shot from Glavan. Shortly after, however, the KSV keeper was beaten by Piskule's goal. He coolly converted a pass from the back - 1-0 for FAC (14th).
A loss of possession in their own box cost FAC the lead around ten minutes later. In the end, it was Zlibanovic who scored the equalizer, making it 1-1, with a powerful shot into the top corner (26th).
Moments later, the game was turned around: Stöger powerfully hammered the ball against the crossbar, and Sokcevic headed in the rebound into the far corner - 2-1 for Kapfenberg (28th).
FAC Equalizes Before the Break
Before the break, the game was level again: Ojukwu fouled Neumann in his own box. Piskule stepped up for the resulting penalty and converted to make it 2-2 (45+4.).
The second half also had good tempo, but lacked the final conviction in front of goal. In the end, it remained 2-2.
FAC thus has to wait for their first win since mid-September, sitting in mid-table with 14 points.
Kapfenberg, on the other hand, has collected five points from their last three games, but with a total of eight points, they are still only in 14th place.
