An average of 10,000 in #LigaZwa! That's exactly what SV Mattersburg achieved in the 2002/03 season.

In the 2002/03 season, SV Mattersburg achieved promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga for the first time. With players like Didi Kühbauer, Michael Mörz, and Schutti Wagner, as well as coach Werner Gregoritsch, the Burgenlanders had a squad with notable names.

Spectator interest was also remarkable: An average of around 10,000 fans came to home games at Pappelstadion.
