Behrmann new U18 European Champion in Tennis!
After the two ÖTV players had already won the doubles title together, they faced each other in the singles final.
Thilo Behrmann secures his second title at the U18 European Tennis Championship in Oberpullendorf.
After the 18-year-old had won the doubles title together with Florian Zimmer on Saturday, the two Austrians now faced each other as rivals in the singles final.
The top-seeded Behrmann prevailed in three sets, winning the match 6:3, 3:6, 7:5.
Last Junior Tournament
For Behrmann, the tournament simultaneously marked the end of his junior career. From next year on, he plans to compete exclusively on the senior tour.
Most recently, he reached the semi-finals in the junior competition of the US Open. He is currently ranked third in the junior world rankings.
