Mercedes revs up again! Antonelli wins FP3
Just in time for qualifying, this season's industry leader once again shows its class. In the end, the championship leader is the fastest.
Kimi Andrea Antonelli wins the third free practice session for the Bahrain Grand Prix, which is taking place as a replacement in Sepang (Malaysia)!
The championship leader ultimately pulls clear of the two Red Bull challengers at the top. Max Verstappen finishes second (+0.278) and Isack Hadjar third (+0.558). Teammate George Russell finishes fourth (+0.610) behind them.
This suggests an exciting race weekend, as Verstappen and Charles Leclerc were at the front in the previous two sessions. However, a duel between Mercedes and Red Bull seems to be emerging for qualifying.
Behind the two leading teams, the two Ferraris and then the two McLarens finish in the third free practice.
Qualifying starts at 10 AM CET - in the LIVE ticker >>>
