Two two-goal scorers propel 99ers to victory over Milano
The champions are hitting their stride and move past the league newcomer.
The Graz99ers secure another win: In the 13th round of the win2day ICE Hockey League, they claim a 5:3 home victory over HC Milano.
Clay Hanus (13th, 42nd) and Paul Huber (26th, 40th/PP) formed the backbone of the victory with two goals each. Jonas Dobnig contributed the fifth goal to make it 3:2 temporarily (33rd).
Milan managed to come back into the game twice through Grant (23rd/PP) and Dal Colle (32nd), before the match took a definitive turn. A second goal from Dal Colle (51st/PP) ultimately only flattered the score for the visitors.
Both clubs thus sit with 20 points each in fifth and sixth place. The champions from Graz have also played one game less.
