Yellow for Argentina - too harsh for Yakin

The Swiss striker's sending off was preceded by a VAR check.

The referee had booked Argentina's Leandro Paredes with a yellow card after an alleged foul in midfield. Only because of this was the VAR review even possible.

That's why the yellow card against Paredes caused incomprehension for head coach Murat Yakin. "The referee must not or should not give a yellow card against the Argentinian in this scene.
