After the narrow victory in the World Cup quarter-final against Norway, the atmosphere between England coach Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham was heated.

The German was visibly unhappy with his team's performance after the 2-1 win. "We were lucky today. We have to play better," he explained in the interview.

Bellingham, however, countered, saying regarding his coach's statement: "Perhaps he doesn't know what it's like to play against players like Haaland, Odegaard, Nusa or Sörloth under such conditions."

Now captain Harry Kane also weighs in and stands behind Tuchel: "He's trying to get the best out of us - and we know we can play a level better. We only showed glimpses of that against Norway," he explains.

The Bayern player adds: "When he sees us train and recognizes our cohesion and also sees what we are capable of, then he wants to see that version of us in the games as well."

Ahead of Wednesday's semi-final match against Argentina (from 9:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>), Kane expresses confidence: "We are playing against one of the best teams in the world. The good thing is that we are in a semi-final and still feel we can do even better," he is quoted as saying in conclusion.
