On September 26, 2026, a special football spectacle will take place at the Wörthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt: At Ronaldinho's Legends Cup, Brazilian World Champion Ronaldinho, alongside numerous international stars, will face the Austrian Team Copa Pele.
Joining Ronaldinho will be Wesley Sneijder, Maicon, Bruno Alves, Giorgos Karagounis, Hernanes, and Ronald de Boer, among others.
Facing them will be well-known names from Austrian football. Peter Pacult will serve as coach, Toni Polster as sporting director. Further domestic legends like Mario Haas and Stefan Maierhofer will also be participating.

Numerous International Achievements
The international team brings a wealth of experience. Ronaldinho became World Champion with Brazil in 2002. Sneijder and Maicon jointly won the Champions League with Inter Milan in 2009/10, while Bruno Alves became European Champion with Portugal in 2016. Hernanes and Ronald de Boer also look back on successful careers at top European clubs.
Program around the Legends Match
Kick-off at the Wörthersee Stadium, which holds around 30,000 spectators, is at 4:00 PM. A warm-up show with music and the official greeting of the players will begin an hour before. An after-show awaits visitors following the match.
Additionally, there will be various interactive stations such as a shooting wall and food trucks. This means the event is aimed not only at football fans but also at families.
