LASK Defender Makes National Team Debut
The center-back is substituted at half-time but cannot prevent the defeat.
LASK defender Miguel Freckleton has made his debut for the Jamaica national team.
In the Caribbean nation's 0-1 defeat to Honduras in the CONCACAF Nations League, the 23-year-old was substituted on at half-time as a right-back.
The Linzers' summer signing could not prevent the defeat. England-based player Keyrol Figueroa became the match-winner, scoring the decisive goal for Honduras in the 14th minute.
Jamaica consequently drops to third place in Group B, now trailing Guatemala and Suriname. Honduras moves up to fourth place.
Freckleton, who was born in England, has been playing for LASK since this summer. So far, the 23-year-old has featured in six competitive matches, but only started in the cup game against Deutschlandsberger SC for the double-winners.
