Excellent Form: Austrian International Shines in Thun Victory
The former SK Rapid striker was involved in three goals in the victory in St. Gallen.
In his second season at FC Thun, Furkan Dursun appears to have truly found his stride.
After a hat-trick in the Swiss Cup and two goal contributions in the Europa League qualifiers, the striker was directly involved in three goals on the fifth matchday of the Super League. In Thun's 4-3 victory over FC St. Gallen, Dursun provided two assists and scored one goal.
First Two Assists, Then the Goal
From the visitors' perspective, the match started ideally: Labeu scored after nine minutes to give them the lead. The goal-fest only truly developed afterwards: Dursun set up Reichmuth's 2-0 goal shortly after the restart.
St. Gallen pulled one back in return, before the Austrian international assisted the 3-1 goal. He then scored himself to make it 4-1 after winning a tackle and subsequently shooting the ball through the keeper's legs. Although FCSG got back to 3-4, that's how the score remained.
