Elias Havel Scores on Genoa Debut!
The Austrian international forward comes on as a substitute and doesn't take long to score his first goal in a Genoa shirt.
After Romano Schmid, Elias Havel is the next Austrian international to celebrate a successful competitive debut in Italy.
The Austrian forward scores the goal for CFC Genoa, making it the 4-1 final score against Ascoli Calcio in the first round of the Coppa Italia. Havel, like the other Austrian internationals David Puczka and Franz Stolz, was not in the starting eleven. The former Hartberg player is substituted in the 66th minute, Puczka enters the match twelve minutes later.
At this point, Genoa was already leading 3-1. Silipo, however, put the Serie B underdog ahead after 25 minutes. Marcandalli (42.) and Baldanzi (45.) turned the game around before the break.
Colombo extended the lead to 3-1 after an hour, before Havel scored the 4-1 final result after an assist from Wiafe.
