Done Deal! PSG signs French international
A Frenchman joins from a league rival for 50 million euros. He is expected to compensate for a potential departure of Bradley Barcola.
Paris Saint-Germain has acquired a player from last season's seventh-placed team. Maghnes Akliouche joins from AS Monaco for 50 million euros.
The 24-year-old signs a contract with the Parisians until 2031. Last season, he recorded six goals and six assists in Ligue 1.
Akliouche was only a substitute at the World Cup. Behind star players Ousmane Dembelé, Michael Olise, and Desire Doué, he only managed seven minutes of playing time.
Replacement for Bradley Barcola?
Akliouche can be deployed flexibly on both wings. The left-footed player could compensate for a potential departure of Bradley Barcola.
Liverpool FC is reportedly very interested in the Frenchman. According to media reports, PSG's asking price for Barcola is around 170 million euros.
