Overall a good performance from the young Austrian. He lost the decisive header before the disallowed opening goal by VAR, but was not punished for it. He also came off second best once or twice in subsequent important duels. On the other hand, he was unlucky that his own goal didn't count.

Unobtrusive offensively, but reliable defensively. For his first European match, the performance was absolutely respectable. However, if goals are to follow in upcoming games, significantly more attacking drive is needed down the left flank.

He had problems with his fast opponent, especially in the first half, and made an error when clearing the ball, but otherwise remained composed. With Malic's introduction, he got a better handle on the right side and his opponent.

Only 17 years old, but by no means played like a 17-year-old. He exuded a lot of composure on the ball, impressed in duels, and set important accents in midfield. A shot in the 38th minute was among the most dangerous actions of the first half. Overall, he handled his task very confidently and coolly.

The striker ultimately was largely ineffective. Even though he tried a lot and occupied the spaces well, he hardly posed a goal threat. A technical error in the build-up also led to a counter-attack.
His replacement Diakite provided significantly more activity. He couldn't necessarily recommend himself for further appearances with his performance.
