Favorites against Sturm? Marseille Coach Warns
The French head coach is reluctant to accept the role of favorites.
SK Sturm Graz will host Olympique Marseille in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday (kick-off 6:45 PM CET, in the LIVE ticker >>> and on CANAL+)
The French club has had a modest start to the season, currently sitting ninth in the league and suffering defeats in the UEFA Europa League against Besiktas and Olympiacos Piräus.
Coach Warns of Sturm
Accordingly, three points in Graz would be crucial. However, head coach Bruno Genesio rejects the favorite tag: "I don't think we are the favorites."
"We know they are a very intense team with strong pressing and a lot of verticality," he warns, speaking of the Austrian vice-champions.
Marseille recently won against Angers, and they aim to build on that. However, they are determined not to underestimate Graz, as points are urgently needed in the European competition anyway.
