Important victory for Wiener Austria!

The "Violets" celebrate a 2-1 away win against Beitar Jerusalem in the first leg of the third round of Conference League qualification.

The Israelis initially set the pace and created more goal threat. Nevertheless, the "Violets" got a golden opportunity early on.

Julian Hettwer received a through ball and pushed it just wide of the left post (11'). Despite this, the Israelis took a deserved lead.

FAK keeper Sahin-Radlinger parried a shot from ex-Bundesliga player Shon Weissman, but Noam Muche tapped in for a 1-0 lead for Beitar Jerusalem (19').

Markovic scores the equalizer for Austria before halftime

After that, Wiener Austria's attacking threat was almost completely absent. Nevertheless, Helm's team could still celebrate the equalizer.
