Youth League: LASK Youngsters Secure Point in Athens

LASK kicked off their new UEFA Youth League season with an away match at AEK Athens.

The young Linzers drew 0-0 in Greece to start. In the 25th minute, LASK goalkeeper Christof Katzmayr had to parry a major chance for the Greeks.

Last-Minute Goal Disallowed

In the 78th minute, the Linzers also had a good opportunity, which was thwarted by the Greek goalkeeper.

Subsequently, it was primarily the hosts who created danger. However, the strong Katzmayr secured the point for LASK.

In the second minute of stoppage time, the Athenians seemingly scored through Argyriou, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.
