In the fifth minute, Sporting Lisbon takes a 1-0 lead from a penalty. Irankunda goes to ground in a challenge against Ljubicic, after which there's a slight touch, and the striker falls.

The two former ÖFB national team players Robert Almer and Christopher Trimmel analyzed the scene afterwards in the Canal+ studio. "He's already lifting off before any contact could have even occurred," says Almer. "If a striker is rewarded for that, it's not in the spirit of football," Trimmel asserts.

LASK Silenced the Portuguese

"Didi told himself beforehand that he wanted to silence the stadium. In the end, there were whistles because LASK had possession. That was very nice to see," says Trimmel.

CANAL+ expert Johnny Ertl was also enthusiastic about the performance: "This entire performance thrilled me. In Austria, we always talk about the five-year ranking, and suddenly, you have this result today. That is really refreshing, also for Austrian football, because Sporting is a top team."
