WSG narrowly prevails in friendly against Liefering

WSG to test against German third-division side

Phillip Semlic's team will play another friendly on October 1st. This time, the club will visit German third-division team SSV Jahn Regensburg.

League play resumes on October 10th with a match against SV Ried. The Tyroleans are in fifth place in the table after seven games.

The second-division team's next competitive match is also on October 10th. The "Young Bulls" will face Sturm Graz II. Coach Danny Galm's team currently sits in eighth place in the table. The Salzburgers had to finish four of their last seven matches shorthanded.

Friendly victories for Lustenau and Hartberg

In addition to WSG Tirol, two other ADMIRAL Bundesliga clubs, promoted side Austria Lustenau and TSV Hartberg, also played friendlies against second-division teams.

The Vorarlbergers prevailed 3-1 in the "Ländle Derby" against SW Bregenz. Precious Benjamin scored a brace (60th/64th minute) and Haris Ismailcebioglu (79th) contributed the goals. Keita Saito scored for Bregenz (83rd).

Hartberg won even more convincingly. Schopp's eleven clearly beat Kapfenberger SV 5-0.
