Rapid's Tormentor Tabakovic: "His Goal-Scoring Rate is Insane"

Haris Tabakovic scored a brace in the 5-1 victory against SK Rapid.

The Hütteldorf side is his favorite opponent. Moreover, another goal was disallowed for him yesterday due to offside.

On average, the Bosnian scores a brace when he starts against the Green-Whites. In four starts, the striker has scored eight goals.

A Rapid Tormentor Even During His Austria Days

Salzburg captain Nikolas Veratschnig raves: "His goal-scoring rate is insane. Salzburg can be incredibly proud to have such a striker."

Tabakovic, by the way, boasts the best scoring rate of all time in Vienna derbies. When he played in Favoriten in the 2022/23 season, he scored, on average, roughly every 45 minutes against Rapid. The 32-year-old thus scored once in each half.

After the victory against the Hütteldorf side, the striker commented: "If you measure me by goals, it's not bad at all." The Bosnian was impressed by his team's performance: "Our play with the ball was outstanding, we made a statement."

"I would have liked to score a third goal," Tabakovic said, still not entirely satisfied.
