Contract terminated: Former Sturm and Austria striker clubless
The center-forward was most recently under contract in Hungary's top league. Ironically, at the very club where Sandro Ingolitsch is reportedly headed.
Bright Edomwonyi's contract with Nyíregyháza Spartacus has been terminated.
The 32-year-old impressed last season, especially in the first half of the season in Hungary, with five goals. However, injuries repeatedly hampered him in the second half of the season.
Now, his club has decided to terminate the contract.
The striker was under contract in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga with clubs including Red Bull Salzburg, Hartberg, Sturm Graz, and Austria Wien. In Austria, the Nigerian scored 21 goals in 127 appearances.
