LASK ultimately celebrates a deserved 3-1 victory against Wolfsberger AC in the postponed match of the fourth matchday in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.

For ex-WAC coach and successful LASK coach Dietmar Kühbauer, it is thus a successful return to Lavanttal.

The Carinthians have to accept a very early setback. Raffael Behounek commits a professional foul against Christoph Lang in the second minute just outside the WAC penalty area and has to go to the changing room after the red card.

However, despite their numerical advantage, the Linz team only creates one clear-cut chance in the first half. Moses Usor gets to the ball after a free-kick and hits the post (24').

Wohlmuth puts WAC ahead despite being shorthanded

In contrast, WAC is not only compact in defence but also shines with efficiency. Donis Avdijaj takes a short free-kick to Fabian Wohlmuth, before the midfielder shoots the Carinthians into a 1-0 halftime lead (34').

But after the change of ends, the Linz team increases the pressure. Consequently, Kühbauer's squad also manages to equalize. Xavier Mbuyamba heads the ball over the line from close range (54').

LASK finally exploits numerical advantage and turns the game around

Even after that, the Linz team clearly dictates play and ensures the turnaround on the scoreboard. Melayro Bogarde puts the double winners 2-1 ahead from about three meters after a short corner kick (68').

On the other side, WAC ventures forward once in the closing stages. The Linz team immediately punishes this, and Alessandro Schöpf finishes a counter-attack to make it 3-1 (84').

With their fifth win in five games, LASK thus reclaims the league leadership, at least temporarily, ahead of Rapid. WAC, meanwhile, remains with only one win after five matches.
