In the Round of 16 of the UNIQA ÖFB-Cup, it's time for the next edition of the Upper Austria Derby! LASK hosts SV Ried on Wednesday (kick-off at 8:30 PM in the LIVE ticker>>>).
The double winners from Linz are favourites, but they botched their dress rehearsal against FC Red Bull Salzburg. Furthermore, the Kühbauer XI has a tight schedule behind them, which also includes two UEFA Champions League matches, and is therefore likely forced to rotate.
The Innviertel side travels to Linz with plenty of self-confidence: SV Ried has been undefeated for six competitive matches now, and on the last matchday of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, they forced a draw against SK Sturm.
The last encounter between LASK and Ried in mid-August in the Bundesliga clearly went 4-1 to the Linz side.
