Three Debutants! This is the ÖFB U21 Squad
Head coach Peter Perchtold names three newcomers, among others, for the matches against Denmark and Wales.
On Tuesday morning, the ÖFB announced the squad for the remaining two qualifying matches for the UEFA U21 European Championship 2027.
With Liefering striker Oghenetejiri Adejenughure, Rapid full-back Eaden Roka, and Stuttgart future prospect Yanik Spalt, three debutants are included for the home clash against Denmark and in Wales.
Head coach Peter Perchtold says: "We are very satisfied with the squad selection and especially with the development of our players. Many players are already very familiar with our processes, and at the same time, some lads have earned their chance in the U21 with strong performances. We are well prepared for the upcoming tasks and at the same time proud that several of our players have now also caught the eye of the senior national team."
