"The goal is to jointly develop the strengths of the players, coaches, and the club," Admira President Christian Tschida said at the time about the new cooperation.

The 2026/27 season was supposed to be their last season in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga, "because from now on, we will fight with all our might for promotion, and we are already creating the right conditions for that today," Tschida said.

Sharp Criticism Against DSM and Tschida

The "Gate 2 Admira" fan club is displeased with the deal.

In a social media post titled "FUTURE PROSPECTS WITHOUT PERSPECTIVE," the Südstädter supporters lash out not only against DSM AG and Martin Dellenbach, but President Tschida also does not escape sharp criticism.

"Martin Dellenbach & DSM Group. What sounds positive and like a rescue to some Admira fans is a deal which – if you look closely – means many disadvantages for our club," it says. Dellenbach would indeed provide "some" financial stability, but the price would be a "massive loss of control," they write.

Contrary to Tschida's announcement, "(ex-)players and staff" were told by DSM AG during presentations that Admira was planned as a second-division club and "should merely serve as a parking lot for players in their system."

Concern for the Club's Well-being

Concerns are being raised that external influence in the club would be "massively increased" by replacing long-serving players, coaches, and staff with DSM personnel.

"That DSM 'doesn't care' about Admira and its biggest goal is to make money is openly stated behind the scenes. Does this system sound familiar to you?" they ask.

They would also be part of a "multi-ownership" system, which is "rightfully" despised by many fans. It would no longer be about the well-being of the club, "but only about the company's self-interests."

A warning is issued: "Look closely and don't be fooled by the alleged visions of those in charge, Admira fans! Question what's happening! This deal is, in our view, extremely dangerous!"

Tschida's Resignation Demanded

Furthermore, the resignation of President Tschida is demanded, who is identified as the "main problem" for the Südstädter.

"His tenure is dominated by the failure to achieve sporting goals despite expensive 'experts' and financial problems that became public in the media (e.g., BSFZ, Blaguss, salaries)."

"His current rendezvous with Dellenbach makes it seem as if he wants to stay in office by all means, without a plan, regardless of what is good or bad for Admira Wacker. Yet, it has long been clear to everyone but himself that he has failed and must step down for a positive future."

Until then, they will no longer recognize Tschida as president and call for his resignation.
