Isack Hadjar will make his Formula 1 comeback at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Red Bull Racing officially announced this on Tuesday morning.

The 21-year-old Frenchman had missed the past three races due to a wrist injury he sustained during boxing training ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix. He reportedly passed the final stress test in the racing simulator, which was conducted on Monday.

"Red Bull Racing is delighted to welcome Isack back this weekend. Following his successful recovery from a wrist injury, Isack will return to action on Thursday at the Baku City Circuit," the team confirmed ahead of the race in the Azerbaijani capital.

Lawson back with the Racing Bulls

Replacement driver Liam Lawson will return to his cockpit with the Racing Bulls. Red Bull Racing thanked him in a statement "for his professionalism, commitment, and hard work in the past three races."

Yuki Tsunoda, who temporarily filled the New Zealander's spot at Racing Bulls, will return to a secondary role.
