Jürgen Klopp will have to do without centre-back Antonio Rüdiger in the future!

The 33-year-old Real Madrid defender will end his national team career. This has been reported by both Spanish "Marca" and "Sky" on Tuesday.

Debut in 2014 under Löw

The Berlin native made his DFB debut in May 2014 under Joachim Löw. Rüdiger was not in the squad for the World Cup title win in Brazil. He participated in the World Cup finals in 2018, 2022 and 2026, and in the European Championship in 2021 and 2024.

In total, Rüdiger played 86 international matches for Germany, scoring three goals.

The defender is still under contract with Real Madrid until summer 2027. In 2022, he moved on a free transfer from Chelsea to the "Royal Whites". Previously, he also played for AS Roma and VfB Stuttgart, among other clubs.
