Muslic lands former German international

The full-back was recently active in Italy, and will now play in his home country again.

The Gelsenkirchen club announced this on Friday evening. The left-back initially moves on loan from AC Fiorentina to the "Knappen".

However, the contract contains "modalities that make a permanent signing of the 32-year-old possible," according to the Bundesliga promoted team.

Experienced European Championship Participant

Gosens once made his way into professional football via the Netherlands (Dordrecht, Heracles Almelo), from there he made the leap to Atalanta Bergamo and in 2022 even to Inter Milan. After Union Berlin and Florence, his journey now continues in Gelsenkirchen.

Gosens has played 24 international matches for Germany in his career so far, the most recent being in June 2025. He was also part of the 2021 European Championship squad.
