After a disappointing season with a fifth-place finish, Liverpool aims to challenge higher up the table again in the new campaign.

In the summer, the "Reds" invested heavily in new players. Additionally, contracts with key players like Gravenberch and Szoboszlai were extended.

However, an extension for Alexis Mac Allister is still pending. Now, the midfielder comments on his contract situation.

"We'll See What Happens in the Coming Months"

"I'm happy that Gravenberch and Szobo are extending their contracts, but at the same time, it makes me sad that I haven't received a new contract from the club."

Nevertheless, Mac Allister leaves his future open: "But there's still time. I will give 100 percent until my last day here. We'll see what happens in the coming months."

A summer departure was apparently also a topic. "There were opportunities to move this summer, yes... but right now I feel like I'm at the right club, and I will always give 100 percent for this club."

In the last two matches, the Argentine was in the starting eleven and is considered a key player for the "Reds".
