80-Million Transfer: Man Utd signs player from Svoboda's club
The "Red Devils" are active in the transfer market again for the first time in over a month and sign a new defensive midfielder.
After a relatively long period of inactivity, Manchester United returns to the transfer market.
So far there have only been three new signings for head coach Michael Carrick. Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos and Karl Darlow all already moved to the "Red Devils" over a month ago.
With Carlos Baleba from Brighton & Hove Albion, United now makes another move. The defensive midfielder from Cameroon signs with Manchester United until 2031, who reportedly pays over 81 million Euros (70 million Pounds) for the 22-year-old.
In the last three seasons, Baleba played regularly for the "Seagulls". He has made 92 appearances in the Premier League. Since this summer, Austrian international Michael Svoboda is also under contract at Brighton.
