Rangnick confirms: Laimer to join ÖFB team
The Bayern star reinforces the ÖFB national team for the two Nations League matches at the beginning of October.
The ÖFB national team will receive support for the UEFA Nations League matches in Dublin against Ireland (October 1, 8:45 PM) and in Kosovo (October 4, 6:00 PM).
As Ralf Rangnick confirmed on Saturday during the final press conference before the home match against Kosovo (Sunday, from 6:00 PM in the LIVE ticker), the previously injured Konrad Laimer will return to the ÖFB team.
"Konni Laimer will join us on Monday and will also be with us for the other two matches," explains the ÖFB national team coach.
Immediate starter?
The Bayern player recently had to take a break due to a slight injury in his left adductor area. However, the latest examinations in Munich yielded positive results.
"The injury has healed. He was able to do everything," Rangnick confirms. "Whether he plays from the start in Dublin is another matter, we have to wait and see."
