Forst with the heel! Admira wins in Floridsdorf
The Südstädter win their second consecutive game thanks to a spectacular goal.

The visitors from Südstadt had more of the game throughout the first half. In the first ten minutes, Admira already had three shots on goal, but young goalkeeper Scharner was not tested.
On the other side, FAC first approached through Vucenovic in the third minute. However, neither team created clear-cut chances early on, until Weberbauer tested Scharner for the first time with a volley after a corner (20.).
Overall, the Admiraner appeared more often in front of goal. Nyarko's shot was blocked, Schmidt missed the target from a good position. Forst had the best opportunity, rounding the goalie and a central defender, but then shot wide.
Dangerous Start
As at the beginning of the game, Admira quickly became dangerous at the start of the second half. Schmidt shot wide, Forst's attempt was blocked, as was Geris' finish shortly after.
In the 59th minute, Vucenovic suddenly appeared directly in front of Steinbauer after a strong pass from Piskule. However, the attacker was probably surprised by the pass himself, as he failed to beat the goalkeeper in the one-on-one situation.
This proved costly two minutes later when Schmidt found Forst in the center with a low pass, and Forst spectacularly converted the pass into the goal with his heel (61.).
Missed Opportunity to Seal the Win
First, Steinbauer parried an Osman long-range shot, but after that, Admira was closer to making it 2-0 than FAC was to equalizing. Scharner saved against Forst, before Woudstra's rebound was blocked by Kirnbauer. The 18-year-old Scharner made another strong save against Ajanovic.
Subsequently, the post denied Forst a 2-0 lead - and thus an early decision. This was finally achieved in the 89th minute by Bubanj. The Serb remained composed on a counter-attack, rounded Scharner, and slotted the ball past the opposing field players into the net.
With the 2-0 victory, Admira is provisionally fifth (15 points), while FAC drops back to eighth place (13 points).
