Tamara Lunger is an extreme mountaineer, adventurer, author, and keynote speaker from South Tyrol.

Her journey began in childhood and youth, marked by headwinds, resistance, and early learning moments. From there, the path led to the world's highest mountains, which uncompromisingly and honestly showed her limits and confronted her with both success and failure.

After several extreme situations and the K2 tragedy in winter 2021, where she lost close friends, her inner search began. This search led her to Mongolia in 2025. 2000 kilometers on foot with her camel through the country. Far away from the world's highest mountains and the pressure to perform, towards the endless steppe and intense encounters with nature, silence, and above all, herself.

For this auction, Tamara Lunger is donating three of her books with a dedication and a personal video message.

  • "Meine Glückseligkeit an der Grenze zum Tod": How Tamara Lunger became a mountaineer and why one sometimes has to listen to oneself.

  • "Der Ruf des K2": A dangerous winter expedition and experiences with the limits of life.

  • "Im Atem der Steppe" (to be released on 28.10. in German): A journey through Mongolia, where it's less about performance and more about self-discovery.

Bid now here and support local junior athletes and athletes with disabilities.
